Improvements to Contract Notifications

Enhanced notification features in Complete Control.

Are you struggling to follow up contracts? Do you have a long list of unanswered notifications? Are you worried ongoing agreements might automatically renew and lead to unwanted costs? We’ve improved Complete Control notifications to give you more control of contracts.

Over the past weeks we’ve conducted user tests and made several improvements to the contract notifications feature. A warm thank you to everyone who responded to our request for help! No matter how much effort we put into product improvements, there is nothing like real feedback to make us better.

Short summary of key improvements:

  • easier to respond and follow-up contracts that need review
  • check notifications without logging in
  • review and respond to notifications from mobile devices
  • fewer bottlenecks - easier to divide responsibilities and follow-up

What are notifications in contract management?

A Notification is a pre-defined message that is sent to a person or group. Notifications help you and your colleagues follow-up suppliers effectively and avoid unnecessary costs.

Notifications are used when:

  • contracts or leases are going to expire
  • when continuous contracts renew
  • when it’s time for annual contract reviews
  • other reminders such as when a leased car should be serviced

Key improvements

Now it's easier than ever to ensure stakeholders involved with contract administration are informed and prepared for important events.  You can add a person's email address - even if they don’t have login access.

Email & SMS support

Easily send out notifications by SMS, in addition to email. This extra reminder can make the difference between following up immediately or putting it off for another week.

Quick response

With the new, mobile friendly interface, everyone can read and respond to notifications on their mobile device.

Each notification includes a link to a set of clearly defined responses, making it easy to answer with almost no effort (and no login required).

Respondents can also add suggestions about how to handle a contract. Simply select an option, send a comment and ensure the appropriate people know contracts are well managed.
